This story, in my opinion, was the best story and the easiest to understand. Before, I thought that culture has a lot to do with life, and I still think it does, just in a different way. I think that culture plays a lot in this story, looking forward to things and moving on. This story symbolized, in my opinion, that money isn’t everything! Having time to think by yourself for a long time, like prison, can help you change your mind, and your beliefs. He thought he was going to be rich after 15 years and then he realized after being in confinement he didn’t need the money to be happy. Things can change if you just think about the loses and the benefits. The Bet is a great story and I recommend that you should read this one first. Now I think that culture is what you want and how you should deal with things. He said that he wasn’t going to take the 2 million to make him happy, and I think that was a good choice.
